From the US to Bergen
Beautifully located by the majestic fjords, Bergen Airport Flesland is Norway's second-busiest airport. SAS flights from the US connect easily to Bergen by way of one of our modern Scandinavian hub airports in Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm.
Getting to the city of Bergen
The Bergen Airport Express Bus departs every 15 minutes on weekdays, making the 7.5 mile trip to downtown Bergen in about half an hour. Taxis are conveniently available just opposite the airport's main entrance.
At Bergen Airport, there are car rental service counters for Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt.
Heliport
Heliport services for offshore oil and gas personnel are available at the helicopter terminal outside the main airport terminal.
Currency exchange
There is a bank in the arrivals hall and several ATMs in the airport.
Shopping and dining
Travelers can choose between cozy cafés, bars and eateries in Bergen Airport. The Fjords restaurant located in the international departure hall serves up fresh local seafood dishes, such as Bergen fish soup. Airport shopping includes a duty-free shop, newsstands, bookstore and fashion store featuring signature Norwegian and international brands.
Free WiFi
Bergen Airport provides free wireless Internet access. Free vouchers, each valid for one hour, can be picked up at many locations, including most cafés and shops and at the information service center on the airport’s ground floor.
A place to sit down and relax
In addition to regular seating areas, Bergen Airport has two areas with comfortable recliners.
Children at the airport
Baby changing facilities can be found on every floor. A children’s play area, a kiddie-sized airplane and a television screen showing movies are located by gate 32 in the domestic flights area. For a family-friendly bite to eat, Café Opus offers a children’s menu and also has a play area.
Services for disabled travelers
Bergen Airport is wheelchair accessible. Assistance for passengers with reduced mobility or other special needs is available; please request this assistance when you book your flight and at least 48 hours before departure.
Airport hotel
The four-star Clarion Hotel Bergen Airport, Bergen's newest hotel, is just a few minutes' walk from the airport terminal.
