Claremont Stables are the only riding stables left in Manhattan, renting out horses for $50/hour. The stables are convenient to three Central Park bridle paths - the Reservoir Loop, the North Meadow Loop and the Southern Spur. All paths are less than two miles long and no permit is required to ride. Horses must be reserved and can be done so by contacting the stables.
